Why Support LandSAR
LandSAR is the national volunteer organisation within New Zealand providing Land Search & Rescue Services to the police and public of New Zealand.
Our 2,500 trained search and rescue volunteers freely contribute their time but need to equip themselves. The cost of fully equipping a trained volunteer member is over $3,000.
LandSAR also needs your help to assist our national infrastructure, to ensure our volunteers are fully trained to meet assessment standards, and to provide specialist equipment such as GPS tracking systems.v
